This website is operated by Area Wide Services Inc. ("Area Wide Services," "we," "us"), a licensed HVAC, refrigeration, and generator contractor based in Corsicana, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through areawideservices.com and how we use it. It applies to the website only; information you give us in person or on a service call is covered by our service agreement and invoice.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address (optional), city, the service you need, and anything you write in the message box. Our web server also records the internet address (IP address) the request came from, which helps us block spam.
When you call or text us, we collect your phone number and the details of your request so we can schedule and complete the work.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags to understand how visitors find and use the site and whether our advertising is working. These tools set cookies and collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location, and the type of device and browser you use. This information is aggregated and does not tell us who you are.

Our pages embed content from third parties: fonts from Google Fonts, our Facebook page timeline, and links to our Google Business Profile, Instagram, and TikTok. Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it to do their job:
- Our website host, which stores the site and passes contact form submissions to our email
- Our email provider, which delivers those messages to our office
- Google, for the analytics and advertising measurement described above
- Our financing partners (Wells Fargo, FTL Finance, and JB & Associates), but only if you choose to apply for financing, and only the information you provide for that application
- Equipment manufacturers, when registering a warranty on equipment we install for you
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept in our email for as long as we need them to handle your request and maintain a record of our communication, then deleted in the normal course of business. Records of work we perform are kept as required by Texas law and our warranty obligations. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by calling or emailing us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep certain records, such as invoices, where the law requires it.
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Although small businesses like ours are generally exempt from that law, we honor the requests described above for everyone.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), form submissions are checked for spam before they reach us, and access to our email is limited to office staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive information such as payment card numbers into the contact form. We will collect payment details in person or by phone.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and businesses. This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
